I have experience working with a range of age groups and concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, support through a life transition, and more. I feel it is important to understand and explore how a system impacts all issues, therefore I typically gain an extensive timeline of background information from my clients (a system may include: family of origin, work, school, friends, etc.). In order to best fulfill your needs for therapy, we may explore a variety of techniques and approaches to fit your unique situation including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness based techniques, Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and emotional focused modalities.
One of the most important goals I have as a therapist is to create a warm, safe environment in which you feel comfortable and accepted. I prefer to work collaboratively with my clients to come up with treatment goals specific to your needs and desires for change and healing, feedback is always welcome in my office.
